Each is exact-matched to Companies House (allowing ltd/limited), its current and former directors fetched, and every name checked against the FCDO UK Sanctions List. Companies that can't be matched are flagged as unchecked — a blank result is never assumed clean. Name-based matches are leads for manual verification at the official service, not determinations.
